The Woman behind all creative, crazy shoe, bags and caps CIY design in our boutique

The path I’ve taken to be where I am today isn’t the smoothest of roads, I would say. Neither was it something my parents had in mind for me. I was an art major in school and had an aspiration to be a Fashion Designer since young, but somewhere along the way I got lost. Diving straight into the beauty industry right after completing high school, I tried to avoid the cliché of finishing college and working in a cubicle with a 9-5 job. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad thing. It’s just something I could never see myself doing because I believe I can achieve a lot more with creativity as my strength. After completing beauty school I decided to pursue hairstyling for a change. A few years later my mom noticed I got tired and lost interest in the industry and encouraged me to pick up fashion design again. Jumping back into my initial dream made me realize this was what I should have done from the start because I gained more recognition and excelled so much more in this field compared to what I had been doing before. I don’t regret anything though, whatever steps I took brought me to where I am today. So, don’t believe those who tell you just because you don’t get straight A’s in school that you’re a failure. When there is a will, there is a way to pursue your dreams and as long as you do what you love, you will continue to love what you do.
